Is there a place to eat at the Fenimore Art Museum?
The Fenimore Art Museum has an eatery located on a terrace, The Fenimore Cafe, which offers indoor and outdoor seating with incredible views of the grounds, gardens, and Otsego Lake. The cafe serves a light menu of wraps, salads, and soups, plus a beverage and dessert menu, including wine and local craft beers. -
Can I visit the Fenimore Art Museum's research library? Do I need to fill out any forms?
The research library at the Fenimore Art Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on days when the museum is open. Reservations or appointments are not required, however, out-of-town visitors are encouraged to contact the library to ensure its opening, as the library may be closed for private events or holidays. Visitors wishing to have the assistance of a library consultant can hire one in advance at a rate of $35 per hour for non-members and $25 per hour for members. Visitors wishing to take photographs, create copies, or request high-resolution images of any resources will be required to fill out a form and may be subject to a fee if used for commercial purposes.
