Experience Rural History & Culture at Cooperstown's Living Farmers' Museum

One of Cooperstown's most popular and dynamic attractions, The Farmers' Museum dates to its days as a working farm in 1813. Now a sprawling campus comprised of over two dozen buildings, The Farmers' Museum overlooks Otsego Lake and offers a look at the history, culture, and development or agriculture in rural America. Featuring dozens of interactive exhibits, unique seasonal events, an expansive historic village, and more than 23,000 artifacts on display, there's no shortage of things to do at The Farmers' Museum. Whether you come from a farming background or are looking to learn about rural America's unique history, the museum is a must-visit and easily accessible from The Cooper Inn, located just a mile from the hotel.
